Experienced, Compassionate Psychotherapy
My name is Michael Hoffman. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon, teacher, and author with 25 years experience in psychotherapy. In addition to my local psychotherapy practice in Bend, Oregon, I also provide consulting to out of state clients via online video conferencing.
I offer individual coaching, on-line classes, and intensive workshops to enjoy the life you would have for themselves. I utilize meditation, Native American ceremony, rites of passage, sharing circles, dream interpretation, and other experiential modalities for people to directly experience their essence and natural way of being.
I completed my Master's Degree Social Work at Boise State University in 1997 with an focus on direct practice. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1987. I started my post-graduate career at Intermountain Hospital of Boise for seven years which provided a foundation for the paradigm of mental health and psychology. Since then I have worked as a clinical social worker in private practice, mental health clinics, chemical dependency programs, and with Marines at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.
I currently live in Bend, Oregon with my family.
