My name is Michael Hoffman. I am a psychotherapist, author, and trained spiritual teacher with 25 years experience. I offer life coaching, psychotherapy, and intensive workshops to help people awaken and unfold a natural way of being and the life they would have for themselves. I utilize meditation, Native American ceremony, rites of passage, sharing circles, and other experiential modalities for people to directly experience their personal truth and what they truly value.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon. I completed my Master's Degree Social Work at Boise State University in 1997 with a focus on direct practice and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 1987. I started my post-graduate career at Intermountain Hospital of Boise for seven years which provided a foundation for the paradigms of mental health and psychology. Since then I have worked as a clinical social worker in private practice, mental health clinics, chemical dependency programs, and with Marines at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.
My 2013 book "Your Natural Gift' is a tool to walk people through unfolding their creative and spiritual gifts. My second book "Natural Way of Being" will be published in 2019. It guides readers to trust their intuition, collaborate with life, and walk with their hearts open.
I live in Bend, Oregon with my two cats.
