What is important to you, and what do you truly value?
The best place to start is to ask yourself what is important to you. What really matters to you? What do you truly value? This opens the door to a deeper ordering of life. It puts the things in our life in an order of importance and priority. It also gets us down to our fundamental values. It informs us of what we really care about.
As we grow and our life changes, the things that are important to us also change. This creates a need to reevaluate what we value. We are updating what is important to us. The question becomes, "What is important to me (now)?" Many of us having been living our lives according to values and goals that we established ten or even twenty years ago. Things may look vastly different from where you are sitting now. Isn't it time for an updated evaluation?
